Limitless Memories, Timeless Recall

Navigation Controls

The bottom navigation controls allows you to quickly access the Memories, Add, Search, Clues and Settings screens.

Add Memory

Add Memory allows quick entry of memories and associated clues. Clues allow you to easily recall a memory, even years later. Choose previously used clues - If you’ve used a clue previously, there is no need to enter it again. The Choose clue function speeds entry of new memories and improves consistency by allowing you to auto-fill new memories with previously used clues. Notes - Additional information about a memory can be added in the optional notes field. Hide Memory - You can decide to hide a memory by tapping on the blue "Unhidden" text to change the memory to "Hidden". The memory will no longer be viewable during normal operation. Use this feature to archive memories that you would like to keep but no longer want viewable or for privacy control. Rapid Fire Entry - If you ever find yourself in a groove and want to enter several memories in one session. Rapid fire entry allows you to quickly enter multiple memories and clues, one right after the other. Tap the Add button to save the memory and you are returned to the ADD Memory screen ready for the next entry.

Memory Management

Memories lets you quickly scroll through all your memories, using the convenient scroll bar. It provides an at-a-glance a view of your memories, and a preview of the associated clues and the entry dates. A count of the total number of memories you’ve entered is conveniently located at the top of screen. The Edit function allows you to delete individual memories from the list. Or you may decide to leave your memories in NeuroMobile forever. Convenient Sort Options - You can sort your memories by 4 convenient sort options. Sort options include Most Recent, Least Recent, Alphabetical and Reverse Alphabetical. Tapping on a memory will take you to the Memory Details, where you can view the entire memory, and all its associated clues and notes.

Memory Details

Memory Details allows you to view a memory, as well as all of its clues and notes on one screen. You can navigate to this view from the Memories or Search screen. Tap Edit to modify the memory entry. Explore Related Memories - Tap on a clue in the details view or the clues manager to view all the related memories containing that clue. The results will also include those with the clue in the memory or notes fields. The process is recursive so you can also tap on a clue in the related memory to find memories related to the related memory. For example when you recall the name of that great seafood restaurant you went to last summer in Boston you can tap on the associated clue "Boston" to see all related memories containing the clue "Boston". This is a convenient and fun way to explore memories and related memories. Careful! Don’t get lost your thoughts. Automatically Launch Phone, Web or Email Sessions - If your memories or clues contain a phone number, web address or email address, a simple tap on the clue entry will initiate the corresponding application for a phone call, a web session or email with the phone number, web address, or email address pre-filled. Nice!

Search (Recall)

Most NeuroMobile users recall memories based on 1-3 clues but you can search using as many clues as you like. You can also search using partial words or text strings. Search terms are not case sensitive. To provide additional flexibility in recalling memories Search also operates on the memory and notes fields in addition to the clues fields. This allows you to find memories even if you have decided not to enter any clues. To recall a specific memory enter one or more clues associated with the memory as your search term. If you enter one clue, the clue must be in the clues, memory or notes fields in order for the memory to be recalled. If you enter 2 clues, both clues must be in the clues, memory or notes fields in order to be recalled, and so on. The search order is not important. Enter your search terms in any order. Convenient Sort Options - Tap Sort to select one of 4 sort options. You can sort by most recent, least recent, alphabetical or reverse alphabetical with one tap. Create List You can enter memories individually on different days and times and recall them as one complete list. For example enter your grocery list as the need for each item occurs. But quickly recall the entire grocery list when you’re shopping based on the search term. You can even generate separate list for different stores based on your clue selection. Generate a list of movies that you want to rent, books on your reading list or songs you plan to buy for your iPod. Email Memories - Tap the envelope icon to launch the email application with the memories you’ve selected based on your search results inserted. This function is perfect for emailing a grocery list, meeting notes from a project meeting, or the name of your favorite seafood restaurant.

Clues Manager

Clues lets you view, in one place, all the clues you’ve associated with all your memories. A scroll bar is provided for convenient navigation. The number of unique clues you’ve entered is displayed at the top of the screen and the number to the right of each unique clue indicates how many times the clue has been used. Edit lets you rename or delete a clue and the changes will be updated in all the memories that use that clue. So there’s no need to be concerned that you will be locked into a system of clues. If after using NeuroMobile, you decide that you prefer the clue: ad to say: advertising, simply change it in the clues list and it will be updated everywhere. It also allows you to address the case if for some memories you used the clue: name and for others you use the plural clue: names. No problem, update it to whatever form you like. Clues manager allows NeuroMobile to learn how to organize your thoughts and to continually make adjustments to accommodate you. Explore Related Memories - Tap on a clue in the Clues list to view all the related memories containing that clue. The memories will also include those with the clue in the memory or notes fields. This process is recursive meaning you can tap on a clue in the related memory to find memories related to the related memory. Careful! Don’t get lost in your thoughts. Convenient Sort Options - Tap Sort to select one of 4 convenient sort options. You can sort clues by most frequent, least frequent, alphabetical or reverse alphabetical.
